Nintendo Unveils Switch 2: First Look at Dallas Event in April

Nintendo is gearing up to release the new Switch 2 console later this year, with a special event scheduled in Dallas in April. The event will take place at the Embarcadero Building at Fair Park and will allow attendees to experience the new system firsthand.

Registration opens on January 17 and will close on January 26, with winners being selected at random. While details about available games and playtime duration are still unknown, a promotional video from Nintendo showcases the larger size of the Switch 2 and its unique controller attachment system.

The actual release date for the Switch 2 is set for 2025, with more information expected to be revealed at the April Nintendo Direct event.
