Russian Attack on Pervomaiskyi Leaves Dozens Injured, Including Children

On Tuesday, a Russian attack on the town of Pervomaiskyi in Ukraine's Kharkiv region left at least 43 people injured, including 12 children. Television footage showed buildings on fire and cars in flames, while images shared by Kyiv's presidential office showed the aftermath of the attack.

Pervomaiskyi is located far from the front lines and has a population of around 28,000 people. Some reports suggest the attack may have been linked to a military funeral taking place in the town.

Russia has not yet commented on the incident. It has been accused of targeting civilians in its missile and drone attacks in Ukraine since its invasion began in February last year.
